                                                                                     Arsenia Mack

Arsenia Mack was born and raised in Portland, Oregon.  She attended the University of Oregon receiving a bachelor’s degree in journalism and continued her education at the University of Phoenix receiving a master’s degree in Criminal Justice and Security.  She is currently working towards a master’s degree in Christian Counseling at the Pacific Northwest Seminary in Sacramento, California.

After college she started her career working for the Office of Governor Tom McCall as a Research Specialist in Salem, Oregon.  However, her passion for nonprofit organizations started while working for the Boy Scouts of America in California.  She started in the accounting department and was promoted after approximately 6 months to District Executive in Salinas, California.  Her district was primarily Hispanic and the love and compassion she was shown was amazing.

She took that passion to Florida where she worked as a counselor for the Boys Village, a juvenile detention facility for 7 years.  This organization was also a nonprofit agency and again her desire to start a nonprofit program in California was a constant urge.

At this point she knew that California was where she should start her own nonprofit organization (One More Chance).  Becoming a Pastor gave her the desire to work with Justice-involved and incarcerated citizens to help them learn how to make better and more positive decisions for themselves.  Also, she had an incredible desire to find ways to help stop the generational curse and cycle of poverty that often falls on a family.  Upon returning to California she began the tedious paperwork of following that passion and desire to help those who had lost their way back.

Her motto is, “Hard Work Makes Your Dream Work!”  She quickly found out that sometimes people only have One More Chance to improve their lives.  Her passion is to assist, counsel, provide referral service information and whatever it takes to help them make a successful transition back into society.
