Kenneth Green, Ph.D. ​

Dr. Green has had a long and incredible career and still continues to this very day to be extremely active in a number of professional, educational and charitable endeavors.  He was born and raised in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and graduated from George Westinghouse High School and the University of Pittsburgh. During his days at Pitt he worked in theater along side the Pulitzer Award winning Playwright August Wilson and the founder of the Pittsburgh Black Theater Dance Ensemble and Theater Urge, the world famous choreographer Dr. Bob Johnson.  After graduation, he moved to California to attend graduate school at the California State University in Fresno, majoring in Mass Communication and Radio/Television.   
     
     He was later hired by the Walt Disney owned television station, KJEO-TV (ABC), Channel 47, as a news photographer were he spent the next 6 years covering stories of every kind.  This was one of the most sensational, thrilling and dangerous opportunities in his young life, but he loved every minute of it. Meeting, interviewing and being befriended by celebrities, sports heroes, legends, politicians, the president and famous personalities from all over the world.  Dr. Green also worked in Radio Broadcasting and the Movie Industry for a great many years before entering into the field of education where he found his second true passion.  
     
     The decision to go back to school allowed him to start working in the field of education by pursuing an adult education teaching credential from U.C. Berkeley.  During this time he worked as an Educational Consultant and Program Administrators for Child Care Providers which led to his developing 4 state certified Non-Public Special Education Schools for Children diagnosed as Severely Emotionally Disturbed and Specific Learning Disordered.  He also made the decision to continue his graduate and post graduate studies in order to earn a master’s in Christian Counseling and doctorate degrees in Christian Education and Christian Psychology. When finished with his teacher training program he was hired by the Greater Sacramento Urban League as the GED Instructor and Case Manager.  While there he also served in the position of Job Developer.

     Dr. Green is the author of 3 incredible books that were published by Xulon Press Publishing Company which provide great stories for readers of all ages.  He is currently the Dean of Academic and Dean of Student Affairs for the Pacific Northwest Seminary in Sacramento, an Executive Producer of VCAT-TV in Vallejo, Education Director for the Associated Ministries of California and Executive Director of Achievers Academy Consulting Group (a 503(c)(3), Non-profit Corporation), that provides free GED and Special Education tutoring, transitional services for the formerly incarcerated, residential housing for homeless and displaced veterans, financial literacy education, computer skills training, free cell phone programs and notary services.  In November 2019, Dr. Green received his Registered Alcohol and Drug Technician Certification.
